Does not fit as written

I bought this for my 2000 Yukon. When ordering it says it will fit, but when I opened it up and read the instructions I was told it would only fit 2003-2006 models. So for anyone looking to buy this for their stereo I recommend looking at the attached picture which will tell you what brand and year it fits. I hope this helps others as the money is non-refundable and now I'm stuck with it.

Pros
  • Excellent design

  • Some flaws

Not for Siverado 1995

I bought it thinking it would fit a 1995 Chevy Silverado because I didn't see any reviews to the contrary. As many say it is very flimsy and flimsy and will NOT fit a '95 Silverado. It doesn't have any sliding clips on the sides, and if you can remove them from the stock radio you might be able to get it working. However, it would need to be reinforced, shaped, or shaped in some way to hold it up. The double din stereo is very tight in the '95 Silverado with aftermarket wiring harness and you…

Mount ok if only fits

Update: I worked with customer support and it was amazing. The wiring harness wasn't the same either, it seems two different ones were made for the Aveo of those years. One with two plugs, the other with just one. Every wiring harness and mounting kit is different. In any case, the customer support went out of their way to help me. I was very satisfied with the communication with them and solved the problem very easily. It's a typical cheap mount, but given what it's supposed to do, there's no…

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Very expensive

Exactly as advertised from the Buick Century 2002 but no support for a two din stereo system on the back of the unit. The factory stereo had a stand sticking out from the back of the unit that provided support at the back along with screws at the front, but this kit doesn't have anything like that. If you are just using the kit to fit in the dash then the stereo will snag on the 3 plastic tabs on the front of the stereo. I also made a small backplate support to complete this kit and mimic the…
