    This is my second Datavac blower, the first lasted many years

    Could have lasted longer but I forgot to clean the filter underneath and it could burn out the motor. This is fantastic and a huge saving compared to buying compressed air! They are strong, heavy and feel incredibly durable. The engine is serious, but again, don't forget to clean the filter on the bottom after each use! I don't see any difference between the main unit and the cheaper white in appearance other than the color and attachments. It has an extra ESD wrist cord and the attachments are

    This. Thing. Is. Wonderful. I bought this because I spent a fortune on canned air for my office. That should have been the solution. I got way more than I expected. I unpacked this hurricane wind turbine and was amazed by all the attachments that I had no idea how to use. I took it to my desk and pocketed it. I found the power switch very conveniently located.     Let me start by saying that this thing is amazing. Difficult. It cleans dust very effectively and is very well built. It has the build you would expect from a proper tool designed with the professional in mind rather than the consumer. Seriously, it's super well built! I also have a Canless Air X3 Hurricane and as far as air pressure goes this thing just blows it out of the water! At the same time, Hurricane has the advantage of convenience and portability.     The grip is surprisingly comfortable and very light

    This "ESD" model is actually grounded and to my surprise the plastic tips are actually conductive plastic. I will explain why this is important for electronics. The Metro ED500 DataVac (White) is similar but does not have a ground connection and does not come with a wrist strap. I can't confirm if attachments are conductive. So you're basically paying an extra $25 for a ground wire, wrist strap, cooler color, and potentially conductive fasteners. But of course MetroVac has given serious thought
