Great product. Closes the wine bottle well and keeps the wine fresh. Easy to use. Some previous reviews complained that it had the name "Rabbit" on it. I believe the "Rabbit" brand is made by Metrokane. I have 2 Metrokane sealants and they are identical.

I have one from Houdini and it's perfect! Since I can't find this brand anymore and it looks exactly the same, I was happy to buy it. However, it gets hard and doesn't get stuck despite my efforts to tighten it. It stays very loose in the bottle. Houdini, where are you?

NOTHING gets a 5 star rating but this device is great. My favorite alcoholic drink is fizzy and my partner isn't, so I usually keep an open bottle for up to a week. Because of this sealing, it appears to have hardly been opened. Of course, the more times you open the bottle, the fewer bubbles will appear, but that's to be expected. What makes it best is that it requires no fuss (no pump, no assembly).

I wanted the Metrocan as before because it was awesome. They don't send you a Metrocan; They send you a rabbit. It won't work at all in a champagne bottle, and one of those will stop working if only used in wine bottles. I find this very frustrating as the original product I bought this way has worked great for years. I wish I'd returned them - (I ordered two) - but now I think I'll use them until they break.

I like these. I bought a few for Christmas gifts because I love mine so much. Please never cork again - I've found that newly corked wine always tastes of vinegar within 48 hours. What a waste. I have found that the taste of the wine stays where it should be for up to a week. I've been using it for over a week and it's still a good drinking wine, but not perfect.
