Not worth the money - team sport

This band is pretty bad. We should re-record our son's game at least a few times. Band in cool design but poor quality. Sticks badly. Rises easily with or without wax.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • So far so good

Not for hockey sticks

Good overall tape but not suitable for wrapping hockey sticks. Even with wax, it increases after an exercise. While the blue is a nice color, it's just regular fabric ribbon, NOT for chopsticks.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Fits

Looks cool, but prepare to re-stick it often.

Duct tape looks cool but doesn't stick. Even waxed tape doesn't stick well to the blade and is easily cut. A bit better in terms of grip, but still not outstanding.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Minor issues

The glue did not live up to expectations

The drawing is very beautiful and just what I was looking for. On the other hand, I usually expect hockey tape to be very sticky. The tape didn't hold up as well as I had hoped and therefore not as well as expected.

Pros
  • Little competitor
Cons
  • Appearance

Best hockey tape I've ever used

This tape is by far the best I've ever used. Of course, this was my first time wrapping a hockey stick, but it looks like I got it right. I'm an idiot when you think about it. I mean it had a sticky side and a non-sticky side, but the sticky side was sticky. So he has everything for that.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Something different

Great tape if the glue doesn't dry

I bought these 2 packs of tape for my son hockey 3 months ago. I used the red roller first and it ran out last week. This week when I tried to use the blue roller the glue dried up. It has trouble sticking to itself and is useless for holding socks. I will no longer be buying 2 packs as my return window has expired.

Pros
  • One year sample
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Plain durable hockey tape

Plain old hockey tape I've been trying to find for 10 years. Some of the more expensive ones didn't work as well and weren't the same as the ones I used as a kid. So I looked for the same thing I found at the hardware store when I first started playing. While it's not the same brand, it's the same material that has always worked well.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • boring packaging

Hockey tape suitable for accessories

I love this tape. I started sanding the garden tool handles and preparing to oil them. Wooden handles are old and you're bound to get a splinter or two when using them. I read on Handyman to just wrap the grips in hockey tape. What a great idea and it takes a lot less time than sanding and oiling. I used a different color for shovels, rakes and hand tools. Simple and fun.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Not what it's intended for, but just what I need!

So I'm a beer seller and the company I work for loaned me a car. The trolley has been in many hands, so the paint and the grip on the top and bottom handles are completely worn. I needed a solution that wasn't permanent and could withstand the cold and humidity. Hockey tape is the perfect solution to a dangerous problem. Now I have a secure grip and don't have to worry about the band getting cold and wet. The only downside to this particular tape is that it's difficult to cut, doesn't tearโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Alright
