🔨 Steel Handle Wedge - Mfg 89003 Review

Fixed my $3 £10 Goodwill Sledgehammer with a loose head. Comes with diagram and instructions but I only use small metal parts.

I made a hammer head handle for a small car body. The item kit is designed for the larger grip hole. I cut the supplied wooden wedge to width and length. Used smaller metal wedges from Amazon. I coated the wedges with linseed oil to make them slide.

Worked well for fitting a new handle to an old mason's hammer. After soaking in glycol, this thing isn't going anywhere.

Used to repair an old hoe. The wooden wedge was big enough to do the trick. AFTER installation I added epoxy to fill air gaps for an even better fit.
