Who knew these magnets could be this powerful? I tell you what- these things stuck to metal immediately. I put one on my refrigerator and told my husband to hang his coat (thick winter coat) on it when he scoffed at them. Did NOT slide down the refrigerator from the weight. These hooks are super strong magnets. My only complaint is that the black paint/coating chips off too easily but that is only a cosmetic issue. I would recommend to anyone looking for a strong magnetic hook.

These magnets are really strong. You almost need two hands to remove them. Appears to be able to handle even a weighty winter coat. They look good too.

I'm pretty particular, so I hunted and measured to ensure I bought a strong magnet that could truly hold multiple thick items securely on a metal bulletin board without moving, sliding or falling off.This is it! Kinda funny, because this actually can be difficult to pull straight off. Usually I have to apply pressure in a downward movement and roll it off what ever it's holding. These things are truly large, and strong magnets.

When the surface has enough iron (ferrous) in it this magnetic hanger really does a good job. Use it in cruise ship cabins because the walls are usually metal. Then hang bags, coats, hats, etc to keep handy and organized. Also works well inside or outside a truck/car which is especially useful when camping. Attach to metal dog crate to keep leash/collars organized. Lots of uses inside a steel metal frame building too. Recommended to those who understand how a magnet works.

These are attractive when not in use. They seem to stick strongly to my metal door. They have held all the weight I have put on them but I haven't tried super heavy coats. I would buy again if needed.

I work in the receiving department of a steel fabrication shop, and use the magnet to hold my tape measure, on longer, I-Beams, angles, that would have the tendency to have slip off halfway down the beam, requiring to be reset. The magnet keeps the tape on the item being measured. The magnet is a time saver, and I am able to navigate from one end to the other without the tape slipping off.
