My 2.5 year old son loves them! His foot is just under 6 inches and he wears a size 8 in regular shoes. I ordered 9/10 of these slippers on the advice of other reviewers and they are a bit large but he can still walk and walk in them. The non-slip coating on the underside is ideal for parquet floors. This item didn't last long at all. In less than two months, the tips of the slippers began to wear out, as if my grandson was "toe-walking” (ie, like a ballerina). Nothing of the sort happened. After 3 months the same spots (both slippers) spread even more and now a hard foam insert was visible. I literally sewed both of them together to buy time until we could find better quality slippers. UPDATE: 5 months have passed and they are falling apart. My son still loves them but one of them has a huge hole in it. They still sit perfectly, the legs have not grown. He wears them about 3-4 days a week and only around our house. They have been hand washed and once sent to dry. Maybe my expectations are too high but for the price I expected them to last more than 5 months. He keeps asking for the same ones, but I don't spend $20 every 5 months on new indoor shoes.
