Using this product, our team found that it did not live up to its promises of improving water quality in our aquarium. Despite following the instructions and using the proper dosage, we did not see any noticeable changes. As hesitant buyers, we expected more from a Pet Supplies product that claimed to be effective in maintaining a healthy aquatic environment.

I had a constant problem with low ammonia levels in my pond for several weeks and although this product reduced the levels somewhat it never eliminated them. I've done partial and full water changes, jumped through all the hoops my local pond shop put on me, and it just took a while for the ammonia source to finally go away. However, this product definitely does not eliminate it completely.

I had to restart the filter after the pond repair. I was afraid of how long it would take for the filter to work, especially since I had to have 8 koi there. I contacted the company with many questions and received the best email support which was very helpful. I used it every day and it continued to release nitrite which reduced the number of water changes (rock salt in the pond helped protect the fish from high nitrite levels). My filter lasted 4 weeks instead of the usual 6.
