Refurbished Sun Faded Bronze Door Handle and Lock

The bronze was indeed weather faded and I was ready to replace it. I first rubbed some vegetable oil with a paper towel and then waxed. It did not last long. The appearance has changed drastically and after a few weeks it still looks the same. It took me all of 5 minutes. I highly recommend!

Efficient and inexpensive

People here may be familiar with the more well-known 'R' brand. This mix of oils, waxes, and a small amount of solvent appears to do the same thing, but costs a lot less. The scent is thinner but mild enough to be used indoors. I usually use it as a final finish after treating the wood with boiled linseed oil a few times and waiting for it to dry. Easy to apply, excess is easily removed with a cloth or paper towel (and an old toothbrush for deeper relief). It dries odorless for several hours…

Great product for metal and wood

Adds shine and protects wood and metal surfaces and gets the job done. This product is also competitively priced. The instructions say to wait no more than 20 seconds for the "flash". Uhhh. What the heck is a "flash" wax polish? you don't speak I can only assume that after applying a thin layer it dries out a bit and starts to set and harden. At this point you polish. Don't like it when OEMs use art terminology instead of English in instructions? Maybe they should have used Chinese instead…

Great material, great price

The comparison with Renaissance wax (great material) is unavoidable for me, as I have mainly used it for wood and leather up to now. I've noticed that applying EJ Wheaton seems smoother and more even. Smells more like petroleum than gasoline. I applied it to an old tome and two old purses and the texture change was wonderful. Everything has turned out buttery smooth and beautiful and has been for more than a month. I'll be rewaving and waxing some old guitars soon and I'm sure they'll love it…

Great Gun Wax in Wood Polish

Basically the same as Renaissance Wax, only cheaper. I don't know why they insist on using a microfiber cloth and then another to buff it. I slide it open with my finger, with a light touch, then run it around the revolver for a while until it starts to harden. Then I leave it on for about 10-20 seconds and dry it off with an old towel that has actually been used, it's nice and soft. It comes out great. Really adds shine to your already shiny pistol. I haven't tried it on covers yet. But I…

It's like "OK ". in Wood Polish

Let me preface the title of my review by saying that I've been using Renaissance Wax for a long time so I'm used to how it works. I have decided to rate this product. try it as a cheaper alternative to Renaissance Wax. I wasn't expecting it to be identical in specs and it isn't and I don't know if the difference in price is worth putting up with those differences. With the two products on different solvent bases (tactile), this dries (flashes) differently after application. The instructions…

I first looked for a wood finisher/restorer and found this. And when I saw museums using microcrystalline wax, I thought there was an advantage to that. Yes, it goes well with some types of wood finishes depending on what it is. But there are many other uses I've found. Like the soft black plastic of my coffee maker. Water stains removed, looks new. I then used it for the water stains on the glass top of the K-Cup cabinet. Wow. I've used it on brass, granite and other metals. Very good. It has…
