GRR-RIPPER Requirement

Since I mostly work with thin material, I need to be able to push the blade all the way through. The GRR-RIPPER is great for pushing stuff and holding it against a fence, but it lacks a bit for pushing stuff. These small plastic pieces slide down when you pick up the GRR-RIPPER and hold on to a tree. They also don't mind being stabbed straight through the blade. I always leave one installed and it helps keep my hands off the blade.

Missing Parts in Gravity Heel Kit

For Christmas 2019, my wife bought a Gravity Heel Kit (GRGH-040) for use with the GRR-RIPPER 3D Pushblock that she also bought me. When I removed/invented the parts package in the "Heel Kit" I found that both "Heel Pads" (GRP-41) were missing. All other parts were there. Can I only have these 2 parts sent to me? I can't rate this set of paragraphs well until I have all the parts needed to use them. I will upgrade my product rating once I receive the missing parts.

  • Confident

  • Low Repairability

Almost finished. for saw blades, parts and accessories

When I first received my Microjig GRR-RIPPER I thought it would allay my fears of using a table saw. It was a bug that was obvious after first use. I considered putting sandpaper on the floor but decided against it. When the heel kit came out I was confident that it was everything the GRR-RIPPER needed. I was wrong, he could use a spring return mechanism for healing. If you use two GRR-RIPPER on a long board, the heel will get in the way. A kind of spring reset would have prevented that…

If you want "SAFETY " this is a cool system for you

My GRR ripper slips sometimes when I'm pushing wood, this product helps me move my piece forward. I recently retired and am now using a GRR ripper I bought at a lumber fair a few months ago. Aside from slipping off at times I find this product really safe, it keeps fingers off the blade (my dad lost his fingertips 2 years ago). Love it so much I have ordered two more GRR rippers from Revain, expect this review shortly. It comes with a set of two pushrods and three additional pushrod pieces…

Better, but not quite there.

This is much better than the standard heel but not as good as I was hoping. I've been using the GRR Rip Block and was happy with the gravity heels, so I decided to try the new gravity heels on my three GRR rippers. Apparently there isn't enough gravity in my shop (seems to be able to suffice if I move 3/4 shifts). Paragraphs don't always fall. All in all I think a trigger controlled heel would have been better. I still believe GRR Ripper products are the safest table saw/joiner push blocks. I…

A great addition to an already amazing contraption.

This was the logical next best improvement to their already great device. While the device was already great for pushing wood through a table saw blade, it sometimes didn't have enough grip to get the job done. You are great, expendable where your fingers are not. And when you don't need it for a specific job, you can simply loosen the jam nut, lift it out of the way, and retighten the nut. It's a great piece of equipment, and with all the spare parts available, there's no excuse for your…

Great Accessory for GR Ripper

Another great safety accessory for your Micro Jig GR Ripper. I have two complete GR Rippers with all accessories. These gravity heels are a nice addition to the GR ripper to bring the upper forward. This allows you to focus on the cut and not on whether you are applying enough pressure to the workpiece to ensure proper feed rates. and automatically lock into place when you lift the GR-Ripper, so they're ready for use when you get to the rear of the stock. Because of their replacement cost, I'm…
