Another great safety accessory for your Micro Jig GR Ripper. I have two complete GR Rippers with all accessories. These gravity heels are a nice addition to the GR ripper to bring the upper forward. This allows you to focus on the cut and not on whether you are applying enough pressure to the workpiece to ensure proper feed rates. and automatically lock into place when you lift the GR-Ripper, so they're ready for use when you get to the rear of the stock. Because of their replacement cost, I'm hesitant to use them as blowout protection, so I didn't use them in that capacity. Instead, I use their shape and size as a template for making a "sacrificial heel" out of reclaimed wood. I make about a dozen of these at a time so I have a "sacrificial heel" ready when I need it. Works perfectly.
