Fur. But don't mess up my USB like C270!

I bought it because the description said it had a 90 degree field of view instead of 110 degrees or higher. I wanted a narrower view so I could slide the green screen farther back. But it seems to have the same angle as my C270, which is why I chose it. The feature I really wanted was the standard tripod mount. I got tired of sticking tape to my tripod while trying to hang my webcam on it. This webcam has pronounced barrel distortion and poor contrast - the image is washed out when there is any

Excellent image quality thanks to easy installation on a monitor or use with the included tripod

We ordered this camera for my young daughter's desk. This is a PC we put together from stuff we had in addition to a cheap mini PC we ordered. She used the computer for the summer bridge program and will continue to use it for non-traditional learning, aka online school, this fall. But we didn't take into account that she needs a camera for Zoom meetings. She does them weekly so these days she has to use my laptop. Very good product!

The other question I had was how well it would run on Linux. My main system is the current version of Kubuntu Linux. After connecting, it was recognized immediately. My favorite video recording app in Kubuntu is guvcview. It was loaded with default options. After testing different settings I found this to be a decent camera. It had H.264, MJPEG, and YUYV recording options. With YUYV, it could only compete at 5 fps at full 1920x1080 resolution. Both MJPEG and H.264 allow up to 30 fps. In…
