I bought it because the description said it had a 90 degree field of view instead of 110 degrees or higher. I wanted a narrower view so I could slide the green screen farther back. But it seems to have the same angle as my C270, which is why I chose it. The feature I really wanted was the standard tripod mount. I got tired of sticking tape to my tripod while trying to hang my webcam on it. This webcam has pronounced barrel distortion and poor contrast - the image is washed out when there is any backlight at all. Given the price, I don't care. the good news is that this device is listed as "USB Camera" in Windows 10 and works well with other USB devices. For months I have cursed my USB wireless adapters because they keep disconnecting. It turns out that the C270 does not implement USB 2.0 properly, so is not USB 3.0 compatible and disables other USB 2.0 devices from the same USB 3.0 hub/controller. Now that it's gone, I can video conference with no surprises!
