Close to the conversation. fits computer microphones

You must set the volume on both the microphone and the computer to at least 90% for it to work well, or 3 inches or closer to get good volume. Tried on all computers in the studio and live. All the same results. Overall it has great audio quality if you need a mic on the go. We will use it to create podcasts on our travels.

GREAT QUALITY AT A GOOD PRICE

This mic is great for the price! I would suggest tweaking some of the audio settings in any broadcast software you use if you intend to use it for streaming. You can use noise cancellation and tweak some other settings and this mic can sound even better. GREAT QUALITY FOR A GOOD PRICE!

PLUG AND PLAY = fallacy!

I opened the box, added it to my boom stand, pocketed it and boom! Setup is almost complete! I did a full tube review on it and how quick it was to start with and you can go there to HEAR the sound quality. All I know is that this will replace the mic I was using before, so do what you can with those specs!

Cheap mic with decent sound quality

At around $22 this is a good sounding mic. Was surprised that it has a headphone jack to control audio levels. This feature is usually only seen on more expensive microphones. Also has a mute button and 2 knobs on the front to adjust gain and echo. The Echo feature basically adds a reverberation to your voice and makes it sound like you're in a cave. Not really sure why you need this, but fun to play around with. Overall, I'd say the sound quality is better than the built-in mic in your laptop…

Great budget mic!

If you're looking for a cheap microphone that doesn't pick up all the background noise around you, then this is a good buy. This mic doesn't pick up background noise, so it's very useful for noisy environments. I get a lot of wind and traffic noise in my room using this and it helped isolate my voice while recording. The mic itself is not very sensitive, I found I had to be very close to the mic to be heard well. At this point, I found that I was using the mic with the volume control turned all
