Worked 3 months then died

I had the mic for 3 months until my voice became very distorted and then the mic stopped working at all. JLAB's warranty and support are mediocre at best. While it worked, it was a solid mic with some interesting features. But please ditch this mic and buy another, there are much better mics out there in this price range.

Not as good as expected

Exactly. Not as good as expected. I wish I had bitten the bullet to buy the blue Yetty so now I'm sure I bought the best I could get. I use this for webinars and have found that I need to position it correctly or it will overmodulate. Simple rotary controls, but so simple that I can't tell if the volume is too high or too low etc. It's just okay. I will say it's much better than using the microphone on your laptop.

Can't adjust gain - Microphone is too quiet to use

I tried using the microphone in the classroom - Zoom adjustment to pick up multiple voices without each person having to turn on their own microphone. It was a failure. I have years of audio experience and know how to tweak the settings, but every adjustment I've made hasn't resulted in a more sensitive mic. I tried unsuccessfully for a month to set up the microphone and then missed the return deadline by 2 days. Be careful you don't do what I did.

Stopped working after a few weeks.

The microphone worked fine for a few weeks, but then it started randomly making extremely loud static noises during meetings. line or was expelled from the session altogether. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling drivers, tried different USB ports and different cables. I couldn't determine what was causing the deafening noise, so I put it back in the box and bought another one that worked great on the same computer.

Pay attention to quality.

BEWARE OF THIS MICROPHONE. I bought this mic as an upgrade because I needed a stand and the quality looked good. When I received the product, the tripod could hardly be screwed on. I thought the threads got mixed up. The threads weren't made the way they should be. I was finally able to enter it there. All plugs were also rigid. It was difficult to connect them. Then I finally tested the mic and plugged it into all 4 ports of my 2020 MacBook Pro and it didn't pick up any input at all. I do not…

One works great; the other doesn't work at all

I bought two JLab Audio Talk USB microphones for office use. One of these seems to work fine. However, the second one is now on my shelf and gathering dust. People on the other end of the line tell me all the time that my voice comes and goes and is often distorted. I contacted the company within the 30 day return period and was told to plug the mic into the rear USB port (which I did) and unplug/replug the USB cable (which I did). After doing what I was told, the mic seemed to work fine for a…

Great mic but they need better service and some small accessories

I got this so we can do live video with high sound quality using a mobile phone. We can make music on a mountain or ridge one week and in a city park the next week. This mic is amazing and works well with the Samsung Note20 5G Android phone. Great sound, stereo, no connection issues (with a simple adapter) and minimal stuff we need to take with us when recording. Why only 4 stars? I tried contacting tech support to see if it would work with my phone and the only response was they would contact…
