While this is surprisingly good for security purposes, it doesn't work well for a webcam as the background is very wide. This camera was easy to install on two different Windows 10 computers. Plug it into a USB port and the power indicator on the camera will light up. It takes a few minutes for the computer to recognize and set up the camera. I put an icon on the desktop. Click on the icon and the camera will be activated. This also works with zoom. I tested this camera on Mac and Windows laptops and was disappointed with the quality. Despite being 1080p on paper, the image suffers from several issues: 1. The camera clearly applies the "sharp" effect at all times, making all the fine details and edges of objects more visible, creating a very unnatural look. 2.
