So far so good. best microphone

Nothing wrong with this cable so far. I bought this to connect an external dynamic mic to a Tascam dr-05x and it works like a charm. Feels well built but time will tell. If this review hasn't been updated, it's still working.

Excellent quality! - Professional video accessories

I was very surprised by the excellent workmanship, should really last a long time (in my situation). I tested it but haven't used it in the afternoon to say it works. However, it should work great. Not the cheapest, but definitely well done compared to most other things.

Is the 3.5mm plug too long?

Ordered to connect a microphone (XLR connector) to the external audio connector (3.5mm stereo connector) of a Canon camcorder. But the 3.5mm jack seems to be either too long or too big in diameter to fit fully inside the camcorder and let the external mic take over the internal mics. Other 3.5mm stereo jacks will fit easily. So, without another adapter, this device was not suitable for my needs.

The 3.5mm plug plugs into the microphone input jacks.

There are two things that baffle me about this cable, but first I want to say I LOVE the quality and craftsmanship. It's built like a tank, the cable is superb and seems very well made. However:. 1) The outer diameter of the 3.5mm back shell is 1/2 inch. Sound cards with narrow input and output jacks. You cannot use the neighboring jack. 2) I've been aiming and winking at the 3.5mm connector with a magnifying glass and calipers and it seems to be to spec, but I can't figure it fully insertedโ€ฆ
