Very efficient and very small profile

I first used a round double layer nylon pop filter which I felt obstructed my view of my specimen a bit. I would say that this filter is either comparable or equal to the rejection level of another pop filter. Near perfect fit for my HyperX QuadCast

This pop filter design was exactly what I was looking for on my HyperX QuadCast to surround and hide the red light that dazzled my microphone hand a bit. Good thing there were no logos on it. It would be nice if it was a little higher to hide the red light a little more, some red light is still visible. If you have this mic then you know what I mean. Inexpensive and works with many microphones. This is included in my spare/travel kit.

I wanted something to pack for travel that doesn't take up too much space and will either take a few knocks or not be too frustrating if it breaks. Since I carry a Sennheiser MKH-416 or SE7 microphone on the go, taking the Octo-842 Hook with me on the go wasn't optimal, and my old "snap" is too big to see. Suitable for Scarlett CM25

Does what it is supposed to. Matches almost perfectly with the CM25 microphone. The rubber bands securing the mic are a little looser than I would like, but they barely fit enough to prevent slipping. The filter itself is really very good - better than I expected for the price. The frame that holds the filter media is cheap plastic that doesn't feel strong at all, but I don't think that's a problem. The frame doesn't really work hard enough so it needs to be made from a stronger material…

A clean, effective solution to an old problem!

I didn't have high hopes for this little guy because of his small stature, low price and what I found to be very cheap materials. But for the price (and the promise of free returns), I thought it was worth a try. I am happy to report that I was very pleased with his work.
