I bought this for my son, he loves it. He writes down the material, looks at the price and evaluates it. I thought it would be better for a beginner and it turned out to be true. He likes to record it. In summary, we can say that this is a normal quality for beginners.

Bought for my younger sister. She has to record herself playing an instrument, but she was only using her cell phone, so the quality was terrible. Does she like this microphone? She even tried it on her phone and it worked great! My other sister has a karaoke machine and we found out that Jack has regular sized headphones. Not a normal microphone size. When it matters.

Well my 14 year old son got this for his Xbox. I gave it a try and I have to say that its total cost with taxes of $54 was worth what it got and what it got with it. Very very well made and durable. He has 3 large monitors and is attached to his outstretched arm and fixed to a table. It can place the microphone practically anywhere. Pair with your professional headphones.

I like it. It was perfect for me because I only make YouTube videos. I was expecting a hissing noise but there was none, but it could be the phantom power I'm using. Please note that this is a condenser microphone and therefore requires phantom power to function. I recommend the newer 48V phantom power because it's perfect for me and I have great sound. If you're looking for a cheap microphone for video, this is great.

Immediately after unpacking, the lever could not be tightened properly. After setting up my arm as best as I could, I attempted to set up a USB sound card with a microphone. Then I heard a loud buzz and then was shocked by the microphone. I removed it quickly. Upon closer inspection, it smelled of burning. The inside of the sound card was also cracked and loose. It is very disappointing and of very poor quality. I do not recommend anyone to buy this product.

The microphone is good for this price range. Scissors seem to fit too. The shock mount and table clamp are unreliable. The table clamp fits snugly and the part that tightens ends at an angle. It should be tight like any other clamp, but this one is loose. The rubber pad failed almost immediately because I was trying to make it tight enough to hold it in place. January 15, 2020 Purchase - This is a great starter pack if you don't need to hang on to 'minimal noise'. I tried to use it to create an audio book, but the mic just couldn't deliver the sound quality I wanted. I had to turn the gain up that much to improve the signal/noise and that resulted in hiss.
