When I tried this product, I was truly impressed by how seamlessly it worked with my computer. The wireless connection was stable, and the keyboard and mouse were responsive. With some concerns about the weight of the mouse, I ordered this bundle (after the discount, what's the risk). Installed easily and worked first time - about five minutes. The whining about the mouse is exaggerated. It weighs 5 ounces with batteries, and because it's a ball mouse, it moves much easier than the optical mouse I used. The lack of cables is worth it. I bought this item despite the generally bad reviews. It works exactly as promised. The mouse isn't the best in design - it doesn't quite fit my hand - but the extra buttons are great (although I doubt everyone will use them). It's also a bit heavier than a traditional mouse, but not so much that it bothers me. The keyboard is fantastic - it's quiet and the keyboard shortcuts are very comfortable.
