Disappointed on arrival

I bought this laptop and was very happy when I was expecting it in the post. However, when I received it, it was a big disappointment. There was a red strip of tape on the pad that looked very unflattering against the gray paint). There are also many scratches on the laptop. The back of the laptop is warped/bent. Also, the laptop itself is VERY SLOW UGHHHHH. The keyboard takes a while to follow which is VERY VERY EXPLANATORY. The laptop didn't even come with a charger! They said they would mail

Arrival as expected!

I have always been skeptical about buying certified refurbished electronics but I am very happy with this product. I can't tell you what the difference is between this and the new Microsoft Surface laptop, which is great as I'm on the Microsoft team, not Apple. The seller has a good reputation as this product is backed by Microsoft's 1-year warranty with 90 days of technical support. After setting it up, I had a bit of an issue with Microsoft updates, but it wasn't anything YouTube couldn't…

This is the one you need

I assume that anyone looking at a Surface laptop has already done enough research and is inclined to buy. You may be wondering: is it worth the risk to buy a refurbished one, and which one should I go for? When answering the first question, my opinion is absolutely positive. It was sealed in a box by Microsoft stating it was certified and refurbished. If it hadn't had the label on it I would have thought it was new. It was packaged exactly as you would expect from a new product. It partially…

Great laptop in the Notebooks category

I've been a Mac user for as long as I can remember, so the switch to a Windows PC was a bit strange at first. After a few days, the Windows system makes sense. I don't know much about PC specs, but I do know that this laptop performs better than the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro I've used in the past, and it's significantly cheaper. . The laptop is fast and does everything I need. The touch screen works great and is very practical. The keyboard is very comfortable. The fabric-like material used…

Great price, great looks, but you're buying refurbished (buyers beware).

I'm going to college in a few weeks and thought it would be great to have a lighter and faster laptop than the one I had before. When I looked at the Surface laptop line, I saw that the prices were competitive between all Surface laptop lines. I was originally going to get the Surface 2, but with its $999 price tag, I figured I could get the same bang for my buck if I opted for the older model and it "upgraded". Luckily everything works for me. I checked the computer specifications and avoided…

Great for a Windows device.

I liked the screen and the overall aesthetics of the device. No major performance issues, although Chrome stuttered from time to time. The keyboard on them moves too much for my liking as I prefer the chiclet style and would end up missing keystrokes. Windows Hello is a dream come true: signing in is MUCH faster. I don't understand why Apple doesn't use this on their Macbooks since they already have face recognition on the iPhone. They'll probably save that for the "next big update" cycle…
