Mice connected to USB-C hubs are buggy

When a mouse is connected to a USB-C hub, the laptop just can't handle it. The mouse will slow down and jump. Other laptops work fine with a hub so I tried a different hub and the same problem persists. Looks like I'll have to plug it in separately, defeating the purpose of USB-C.

So far so good: computers and accessories

I have a minimum 13.5" matte black configuration just for productivity reasons. No gaming. I plan to upload an overview video to my YouTube tech channel just in case someone is curious about my user experience. But as the title says, so far so good, no problem. I will spend more time on this and adjust my review of this product accordingly if anything changes. The only thing that worries me, which also seems to be a common complaint with all Surface products, is the random adaptive brightness…
