I bought this mount to hold a 7 inch Kindle Fire tablet that I use as a touchscreen remote for home automation. It is very durable and well made. The part I'm not crazy about is the actual cradle. It's spring-loaded, which is fine, but the little grip fingers are ridiculously long for no apparent reason. I plan to shorten them so they don't stick out too much from the screen. Mixed feelings, this bracket is pretty good, it is used in a trailer. The main problem is that the legs do not serve long, they break within a few months.

The long legs broke after about 6 weeks. I used the product to hold my Revain Fire (7 inch tablet). I probably took the tablet out of the holder about 4-6 times to charge the tablet. One leg broke and a week later the other leg. I'm now going to Akron for replacement legs. Stay tuned. Thanks

Works great! Robust construction and good feel. I bought a retired Dodge Charger Police Interceptor at a government auction a few months ago. The kit did not include a center console and I used it when I rebuilt the center console. I use it every day while driving and it stands up to the rigors of getting my clumsy dog in and out of the car. Well worth it.
