Miele 560Mm Extended Crevice Tool Review

Should be standard on every Miele vacuum but doesn't seem to be available even in the US. The small suction end easily gets into corners and other hard-to-reach places, it's long so you don't have to bend down to get under or behind furniture, and it bends a bit for even more maneuverability. I bought this to suck lint out of deep spots in my dryer but I use it for everything. Take it!

I love my Miele vacuum cleaner! This tool is a good idea, but it's too thick and not flexible enough to clean small spaces as advertised. I wanted to use it for a chandelier, ceiling fans, over cornices, over kitchen cabinets, under a fridge, in a dryer vent. Unfortunately, that doesn't work in these areas. When bent, it returns to the tube and does not remain bent like a hook to suck into, say, upturned chandelier fixtures. The hose itself is too big and wide to get into really tight spots…

I wasn't about to order this light until I saw a picture of it and read the word flexible. Once I had it, I attached it to the end of a vacuum hose and stuck it in the tiny space between the washer and the wall, and then the dryer and the wall. He collected all the fluff and dust that will remain there without such a tool. Worked great for 30 minutes. Then the roller bar stopped turning. I cleaned all the hair and lint on the easy to access parts of the roller bar and it still wouldn't spin. I did some searching but found instructions on how to disassemble the nozzle. I did this and the metal ends of the roller were completely covered in hair (long animal hair with a dog). Big! Tool got stuck on first use. The tool consists of three components. See photo. The end of the suction tube (upper part in the first photo), the middle flexible extension (middle element in the first photo) and the element that goes into the vacuum cleaner (lower element in the first photo).
