While this is a good idea for a product, it was quite problematic to use. If the lid is not screwed perfectly, it will easily get stuck. Once glued, I couldn't remove it without using a large pair of pliers. The insert is also a rigid lever to ensure tightness. In short, a good product that needs more development time...

I was very happy with this container. I wanted an airtight canister to store ground coffee around the office when making my french press. The cap screws onto the canister for a good seal, but the plastic threads on this cap are loose and don't always screw on well. The sealed plug inside is inconvenient to install in place. I just feel like I'm struggling with usage. Disappointing. Looks great, but not easy to use.

For those who care, I have two problems with the MiiR coffee container as I have shown in the video and picture. The metal cover is removed from the black plastic part of the thread cover. I would recommend a full metal lid with a rubber grommet in the lid to seal the jar tightly, or glue the metal lid to the plastic part of the lid. Second, the seal takes up half of the can, which of course limits the amount of coffee beans that can be stored. Kind regards.

The product is poorly assembled. The plastic interior has not been attached to the inside of the lid and remains bolted to the base. I didn't think it was a do-it-yourself project. The lid is NOT double-walled. This plastic interior has sharp edges. Wear gloves! Also, the gasket intended to be installed in the lid does not stay in place. In order to put the lid on the canister you have to close the lid very quickly or put the canister upside down on the lid so the gasket doesn't fall out.

It is important to note that initially I tried to leave my review on the company's website. Instead of posting my review, they refunded my money. I've checked multiple times and they have no less than a three star rating. It's not because people don't rate it lower, but because they don't allow one or two star ratings on their site.
