The Best Martini Glasses

The glasses themselves are wonderful. Big size but not too big. Imagine different designs so people can tell them apart. I think they are perfect so this was my second set. I'm disappointed with the packaging and I'm amazed they arrived intact. All the separating pieces of cardboard at the bottom of the box had been torn off, leaving the base of the glasses loose. Luckily, the lid of the box, which holds the rims of the jars in place and apart, was left intact. I'm glad they were for me because

Drops out for no apparent reason

Always been a fan of Mikasa and never had any complaints until now. I bought 6 sets of these glasses which I really like. I gave them away and have them at home in Canada and the US. I never put them in the dishwasher and treat them very carefully as I do all my favorite glasses. Of the 4 sets I have, 4 of the glasses mysteriously broke on their own. The most shocking thing was that the bottom actually fell out of the jar after I filled it with water and ice. (I put the ice in last to minimize…

Funny Flutes: Food and Entertainment

Love love love these new champagne flutes. The design is "fun" and makes it easy to know whose flute is due to 4 different designs. I've been looking for creative looking flutes for a number of years - have been looking at them for the past few months and ended up biting the bullet when ordering online because the local stores didn't have them in stock. I was concerned about shipping and they broke reading other complaining reviews and I was very concerned when they were delivered because I…

Very light and beautiful, only lasted 15 months before it broke.

I bought this ice tea pot. Sangria would be nice too. I have had and have been using it constantly for several months. I'm afraid it will break as it's very light. I hand wash it with every batch of iced tea. Very beautiful and cool. So far very happy with the purchase. I feel it's worth the money. I've been looking for weeks for a pretty jug that wouldn't cost too much. i found this TO UPDATE. Now I give 1 star. I've been using this jug daily for 15 months. I have handled it very carefully…

  • Small parts

We have a set of 4 of the same old fashioned Mikasa glasses we bought 8 or 10 years ago. We liked them so much we decided to buy another set to bring the total to 8. They cost a little more than regular old fashioned glasses but it would be ok if they were the same quality as Mikasa before. These new glasses are basic and not worth the $40 they came with. You can buy glassware of similar quality but much cheaper from other companies. We have had the original glasses for many years and they are…
