Don't buy these glasses! You are very fragile! They are broken by a coffee cup hitting the sink. I've already broken 2 glasses and I've only had them for 2 weeks. In my 34 years of drinking wine, Mikasa has always been my favorite brand for all types of glasses. I still have Mikasa glasses that I bought in the late 80's. Too bad Mikasa wrote her name on these glasses. Attention buyers!

Looks fantastic on the table, the sound of one glass touching another glass is so pleasing (musical ears will be delighted) that words cannot describe. I bought two sets, one for me and one for my daughter, and when after Christmas dinner, with glasses on the table, when she opened her gift (she received the same set as mine), it was a really emotional moment of joy and appreciation. Other reviews here have been negative about the durability of this glass. I wash them in the dishwasher and haven't had any problems, but I will note that my dishwasher has a built in dish rack. They are beautiful and original, and different patterns help guests remember which glass belongs to them. I was surprised that the patterns matched a pair of glasses I had been given years ago. It makes the table decoration attractive!

We bought two sets of this particular style and one set with a larger bowl. To date we only have 8 out of 24, and 2 of them are cracked (actually there are only 6 left).
