Overwhelmed when it arrived?

Why not blown up? I didn't see anything in the description that would drain it. I wish I knew my kids couldn't play with it unless I risk catching Corona to go to the store and buy an air pump. upset.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Not soft enough for beginners

I got the blue star version. A good ball if your child already has stiff forearms and strong fingers. Definitely not a soft pillowcase like in the beginning classes. To be advised. I trained with my 7 year old - it hurt when I met him but then again I haven't played in years. She was in the game, but she wasn't ready for the control that was required for that ball.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • unreliable

Very soft and kids don't shy away from learning to pass

Overall I would still buy volleyballs again as my kids love the softness of these balls and the lack of bite. On the other hand, due to the fact that the outer part of the balls is very soft, the balls are very prone to potholes. When I peel the inspection tag off the ball it also leaves a clear mark on the surface like the second photo.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Speed

The product is excellent. Revane's serve is terrible.

I am very happy with the volleyball and would order again. That's exactly what I expected. I am very unhappy with Revain's delivery service. They were a day late and of course turned up in an unmarked car. Can't verify if it's a legitimate provider (not sure). More problems with Revain than UPS/FedEx if you can believe it!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Not sure

Best volleyball I've ever owned

We play volleyball at home regularly from March to November as my daughters play in two leagues and go to volleyball camp in the summer. This is my favorite ball we've ever had. It's soft enough but still works very well and is cute. This ball is used in our garden and is usually in a box on the porch and we have found it to be strong and durable.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Almost never

Love the feel of the ball

Love the feel of the ball but the ball fell apart after less than a month of use. The padding is coming off the ball. I thought the ball was defective so I contacted Mikasa customer service which is awful! Freddy L. from Mikasa offered to send me a new ball for $26.25. I said no since I can buy a ball at Revain for less than $15. Don't buy this ball! Try Wilson or Dunn Rite instead.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Does not fit all

Very cute and doesn't burn! Great ball for beginners.

Ordered this purple/pink volleyball for my 12 year old daughter for Christmas and she loves it. When she played volleyball at school, she had been asking her to do so for a few months. She loved the colors and patterns on the ball and said she had never seen one so cute! It arrived in a mailbox, wrapped in plastic, no ball box, and was fully inflated and looks exactly like the picture. She is very soft on the outside and doesn't "burn" when used so she can play longer without pain in her armsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not a vending machine

the best volleyball i have

i like volleyball and i play 2-3 times a week. Our family joined the local pool club last summer and it had a volleyball net so my kids wanted to play with my volleyballs but I know most indoor and outdoor volleyballs deteriorate over time when they get wet as they are not waterproof so I was looking for a volleyball made specifically for the pool. Pool but this one is by far the best. Other pool volleyballs were either too light or bouncy, almost like a heavy balloon, but this Mikasa squishโ€ฆ

Pros
  • inspires confidence
Cons
  • there is negativity

Great pool volleyball

I've read some reviews here that say if you hit the ball hard it flies over the beach and it's a supermarket quality rubber ball with a soft cap. Those are very unfair comments, it does exactly what it says in the description. If you are looking for a volleyball with strict official rules, look elsewhere, this is not your product. I bought it exclusively for pool volleyball. Great, you can't do better than that. It clearly states that it's waterproof and great for the pool. I don't think manyโ€ฆ
