1 Mil Kapton Tape (Polyimide) - 0.5 Inch X 36 Yards Review

This tape protected pin 3 of the 3.3V SATA drive Power connection on the device Western Digital Easystore 8 TB covered white housing label WD80EMAZ. It worked great on the first try.

No problem, everything works great. Adhesion is good with no risk of damaging the product when removed. The middle seems to be some kind of thick nylon. I wish they had used some sort of paper core but oh well.

Got some electronics I had to tape some parts and this tape works great. Heat resistant and still works like duct tape. Exactly what I need, but probably a lot more than I need. Oh yes, now there's even more!

I was repairing my MacBook Pro screen and needed a replacement strap for Kaptopn. It's a good thing, I just don't need that much. I'd happily pay a dollar or two for some small strips, but now I have all this extra tape that I don't need.

Ideal for engraving some steel bracelets with the Epilogue Fusion 120W laser cutter. If you really want to get a deeper engraving on steel, I've found adding a few more layers helps. (Otherwise 100% power and 1% speed gave the same result as about 7% speed because it just burned the tape).

I had to do a lot of work on my son's laptop not least replacing the motherboard. In doing so, I removed the tape that was on the old motherboard and had already expired. So I did a little research and came up with this tape. That works great. I recommend it to anyone doing this type of work. It doesn't hurt that the price was reasonable.

There are cheaper similar tapes. This is what your hot end and thermistor wires are wrapped around. Use the real thing. The slightly higher cost doesn't matter - unless you're rebuilding hot ends to make money, they won't run out anytime soon. It can withstand high heat and keep your wires together and secure.

I bought this to help me repair/replace the screen on my iPad mini2. Without this band I would not have been successful. When I put on the new iPad screen/digitizer, I had an issue with Ghost Touch. Luckily I was able to remove the new screen without damaging it. I then applied Kapton tape to the exposed pins inside/bottom of the digitizer (you can find YouTube videos detailing this procedure). This solved my ghost touch problem! The iPad is now like new.
