Great deal on well made super comfortable clips

I like the smaller size of these clips. I have some big blue ones but they are even more comfortable. They have a really big rake and a much smaller but still big enough rake. That makes them even more versatile. I don't see any quality issues so I'll most likely be buying a few more in the near future.

Pros
  • clips
Cons
  • problem

Could build better.

The flexible side of the jaw of the clamp is too loose, allowing this part to flip when clamped when under the panel and leave a mark (dent, nick ) in the forest. You must keep your fingers on the clip under the board for each clip. It's a pain and slows your speed. It's hard to open the locking jaw once you're done.

Cons
  • Good, but not good

Exactly what was ordered

Does what I need, quick clip and smooth face clip, won't scratch wood (use it primarily for pocket hole clips). It hasn't slipped on me, seems strong enough to make it more solid to seriously clamp pieces of metal together so I gave it 5 stars for durability. The price was good. There were no reasons to regret the purchase.

Seems worth the price.

I just received these today and haven't been able to use them for actual tensioning. However, I was able to spend a few minutes browsing them and playing with the functionality. They are pretty durable and easy to use. I think they're great for things like pressing an item against the edge of a workbench with one hand and holding the item in place with the other hand. The clamping mechanism in the form of a vise is very durable. I'm sure I'll be using them over the next few days and will update

These are small hand tool items

I have Kreg clips but I need to assemble a large face frame so I wanted a few more. Rocks are $16-25 depending on where you look while they are >$8 so I decided to give them a try. These things are small, very small compared to what I'm used to. The 2-inch reach is at the back of the jaw, not the front, and the opening distance is short; You will not use them on 1 1/2" thick materials with any seam width. However, for a cabinet front frame that is 3/4" thick and typically only 1 1/2" wide…

Good price but small with small spacers

I am a contractor and do a lot of local construction work. These are good clips for the price but be aware that they don't compare very well to Kreg clips. They are much smaller (about 2/3 the size) and less powerful. This smaller size means neck and ability to penetrate further into material is reduced. Also, the round metal plates that go against the shaft are smaller. A small block the size of a nickel. I will use them to hold the material together when cregging (i.e. it will hold one post…
