Milton S 693 Straight Foot Chuck Review

Seems to work well and is of course easy on the back. No more fighting for a cheap air cartridge. Can't speak to heavy use in the future, but for now it's fine. Your back will thank you.

Has some weight which indicates it is made of quality materials which I believe speaks to longevity. daily Priority I am glad that this air cartridge makes my job easier.

I have two cars with 'short' tire nipples (one car also has caps secured with nuts) and it makes adjusting tire pressure much easier; as opposed to the typical near-rectangular cartridge that everyone sells for some reason. In addition to getting a better angle, your hand/arm strength can be used more effectively with a straight approach.

Nowhere in the product description does it indicate that this is a locking pneumatic chuck. This cartridge is excellent for tires with high air volume or high pressure. However, it can be difficult to quickly disconnect the cartridge from the tire valve. The ability to release quickly is critical when adding air to very small tires such as wheelbarrows or lightweight tractor tires. I have a lot of garden equipment and some vehicles that seem to need air more often and I have reduced the price of compressor equipment. Over the years I have had to replace most of these fittings such as quick disconnects, swivels and now air chucks. My angular double head literally fell apart in my hands a few days ago and the backup leaked to me.
