I was very skeptical that this dress would look good but I loved the feel of the material and the way it fit. I'm 5'10 and about 230 pounds and ordered XXL. I could also choose XL, but I always play it safe. The material was only slightly wrinkled when unpacked, which is easily corrected with a quick steak or iron. everything, so this dress only hits mid-calf for me, but the slit in the front makes it still flattering. UPDATE: This rating has been changed from 5 stars to 1 because it has gone down so much that I won't even be wearing it anymore (see pic). When I bought it, it glided perfectly across the floor and looked stunning; Now it barely reaches my ankles and looks ridiculous. So disappointed because I loved this dress! I really liked the dress and it arrived quickly. I was arguing between M or L based on the many reviews. When I finally ordered I didn't have an M so I opted for L. The L was a bit big so it was disappointing but based on the reviews and knowledge of the fabric I thought I'd try and scale it down a bit. I like how this dress looks. The dress is light and falls well. I love how the length glides across the floor (I'm 5ft 7in). I washed the dress in the cold and air dried it and it did not shrink. Interestingly, the reviews note that it somehow compresses the heat used. I will be careful with this dress!
