Description of πŸ”§ Milwaukee 2485-22 Lithium-Ion Right Angle Grinder

These die grinders are powered by Milwaukee batteries of a compatible series and matching voltage. The batteries can also power other Milwaukee tools. Tools using lower-voltage batteries are generally lighter and more compact but less powerful than tools using higher-voltage batteries. Tools using lower-capacity (Ah) batteries are less bulky but store less power than tools using higher-capacity batteries.

AMAZING GRINDER. SUPER EXCELLENT!

If you like a grinder, this is what you need. An air compressor is not required. If you are a heavy user, buy more Milwaukee M12 batteries. I recommend this remedy 100%. Please don't forget to buy accessories, holders, casters, etc.

Not subject to industrial use in any way.

A bit pricey but does what it says on the tin. This is by no means an industrial use. I would not recommend this for everyday use when working with metal/welders. This item will not withstand much abuse or aggressive labor. Small projects around the house are okay.

Pros
  • Power & Hand Tools
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Ok, but not great.

I like to use nylon brushes for descaling, removing old paint and the like. However, I found it too easy to overdo it with this tool, it can work with 1.5 inch brushes. In this case, the tool will stop and you must release it, and then release the handle and press again. That last part is a real pain because it also has a safety lever to get it out of the way. If it was like an air tool where you move it away from the surface material and restart then it would be a great tool. If it stops but…
