Flimsy and Unreliable

This so-called compact measuring tool seems like an industrial and scientific joke. The flimsy build can't withstand even minimal wear, while the numbers rub off rendering it useless. However, it's magnetized, so you won't have to worry about it falling off your workbench.

Pros
  • Magnetized
Cons
  • Flimsy, numbers rub off

The packaging is misleading: Tape Measure

I didn't care about "Broad Blade" but wanted a range of 15 feet. Each time it clicks about 12 feet. I did a little research and found that not only is the blade not wide, but judging by the part number it has a 12 foot reach, not 15.

Pros
  • Tape Measure
Cons
  • Damaged

I like Milwaukee tools but not their tape measure

This is my second Milwaukee tape measure. The first one I bought stopped retiring after less than a year. I'm a plumber by trade so I figured they just can't handle moisture. I lost my house and all my tools in a wildfire. I decided to give Milwaukee another try now that I am building my house and there is no moisture in it to damage the tape. But even that only lasted about 7.5 months. I really liked their small design with long reach. But not with such a short tape life. I had a Stanley Fat…

Pros
  • length measurement
Cons
  • boring packaging
