Wrong size.

I ordered this because the description said it was a 3/4 hole saw. They sent me a 1 1/8" hole saw. These hole saws are great, but I didn't get what I needed.

Pros
  • Milwaukee Ice Hardened Bi-Metal 3/4B Hole Saw
Cons
  • Questionable Senior Purchase

Best metal hole saw for the money

I keep dozens of crowns for my fabrication shop. Milwaukee Ice Hardened Hole Saws consistently last the longest and cut the best holes in mild steel and wood. Dewalt, Starret, and Diablo saws are good too, but Milwaukee is better. And mostly for the same price.

Pros
  • Milwaukee Ice Hardened products use a patented cryogenic hardening process that improves on traditional heat treating processes
Cons
  • No instructions

Good hole saw. for power tool parts and accessories

I've drilled 10 holes in 1/8" stainless steel and 1/4" sheet steel and it's still sharp. The only thing I learned from using it is that it cuts better without coolant. I've drilled with and without coolant at low RPM (recommended on the box for RPM) and dry drilling has been faster. I was surprised.

Pros
  • ICE HARDENED Up to 50% longer life than the competition
Cons
  • Expensive
