It appears my Lexus is not providing USB power from a wall outlet. I've tried multiple Lightning cables with no success.

You need a car charger that can provide your phone with enough power to charge it in minutes. My old battery was only 50% charged after an hour or two of driving. This one makes it much faster. Thanks to its two USB sockets, it also charges two devices at the same time.

This is a cute and handy little thing to take with you in your car along with the matching charging cable. Even at the pharmacy checkout you see heaps of cheap similar devices these days, but I'm not sure I would trust them with my expensive iPhone. It's compact and I like that it has a little LED that lets you know it's on.

It says one of the ports is rated for 2.1A but I can't get more than 1A from any port. This *might* be due to the old charging cable I'm using. I haven't proven beyond a reasonable doubt that this charger is the culprit, which is why I'm still giving it 5 stars. At least it still charges my phone and doesn't fall out of my bike's power socket at highway speeds.
