🌈 Colorful Comfort: Mini Melissa Girl's Mini Beach Slide Sandal with Rainbow Design Review

These are very cute and would be perfect beach/pool shoes. Unlike other Mini Melissa shoes, they don't have a fruity smell but a very strong chemical plastic smell. And as expected they run small but we have had many pairs of Mini Melissa so we always run larger but if this is your first order order the next size up as they are almost a full size smaller.

As mentioned in other reviews the shoes are quite heavy. Absolutely adorable and although they were heavy my daughter loved them in the short time she tried them on. The main complaint is that I ordered a toddler 8 for the summer as my daughter is currently wearing an American toddler 7 and the shoes were too small. Her heel was hanging behind her back and I couldn't insert her foot any further. We can't wear them.

So I'm new to Mini Melissa so I don't know if this is normal. But A. These shoes are SO HEAVY! My almost 6 year old couldn't even walk in it. And B. You smell like toxic chemicals. That was the main reason I sent them back. I tried leaving them outside for a few days to air them but the smell never went away. They just smell like horrible chemicals. I'm so pissed. The style is so cute. But we just couldn't leave her.
