Unfortunately the stainless steel finish is painted - not great for such an expensive fan. But the Minka Aire remote is great, the design and reliability has been in the past too great .Please note the picture shown is misleading, it shows the gloss inside the fan housing - this is more like the faint gloss of the item I received.Check before purchasing.

Ordered as part of a kitchen renovation. I like the design very much. The light is amazing - from dim to bright. And no flashy, "terrible LED" - bright - softer, warmer light. I haven't used the fan yet, so I can't judge that objectively. Very happy with this purchase. Update: Now with a fan and it's great. It cools a lot of space for such a small fan.

Easy installation. Once configured, the fan will run a diagnostic check and then enable remote control. The remote control has 6 levels for the fan, including a control that allows you to change the direction of the fan. The remote also has a button to control the fan light if you wish. Works very quietly and without vibrations. Great for a modest room. Moves a lot of air or at lower speeds, simply maintains airflow and improves climate control.
