Minka Lavery 971-138 Aspen II Glass Wall Sconce: Elegant Bronze Light Fixture (1-Light, 60W) Review

I had to return this fixture as the glass (1/4 bowl) is only designed to sit flush with the base of the wall fit either in a niche or behind a ledge so that unless the base and glass are absolutely flat (they won't) light will exit where the glass meets the base of the wall. It's just a design flaw. But for this question the wall light was nicely made and looked very good.

After weeks of searching lighting websites I found a wall light that would be the right accent for an attic renovation project above a garage, finally stumbled about this device on Revain. A really nicely made light fixture. Comes with everything you need for installation except tools and ladder. Really good glass with a slight tint. Heavy metal frame with good workmanship. We bought several Minka lights for our new home and they were all like this. We placed two of these on the opposite wall of our basement den. We were recently renovating our basement and chose this range of lights from Minka Lavery. We have other ML lights at home and we all love them. This particular line is simple yet elegant, adding just the right amount of casual charm to our new basement. They were easy to connect. A really neat feature is the icing on the dome - it takes the harsh, cold light of a regular CFL bulb and turns it into a nice warm glow. We love it.
