Great trolling motor!

This is a great trolling motor by any measure! I love the continuous movement back and forth. I can really slow down when I have to, or go flat out when I have to. I have this motor on a 15ft Duracraft with a 15hp Evinrude motor. and reverse moves (especially around docks and bridges where I catch crappie) and this thing is excellent. It has excellent battery usage and no problems so far after 1/2 year of use. I bought this to replace a failed attempt to save money by buying a different brand…

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Not sure

Easy to set up/use, decent battery life, good performance

Perfect for my needs! Easy to set up, easy to use. It was easy to set up a sonar on it. Manual tilt/trim is easy enough on the water. Amazing efficiency in terms of battery life. The speed varies depending on the stick and seems to be reflected in the efficiency of the battery. Spent 5-6 hours there once this summer (2017) and never fell below 2 lights (50%). Pay attention to a high-quality battery! The telescopic handle is a nice feature. I had this on a 12 foot fiberglass V hull and it pushed

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • So far so good

Very disappointed

I bought this brand brand new in June 2017. I wanted to stick with a reputable brand as I knew I wouldn't use them often, but when I did it was important that it worked. I installed it on my boat and tried it on the dock to make sure everything was working properly. I used it for less than 10 minutes in 2017. I ran it twice in 2018 to move the boat while docking. Maybe just 10 minutes. In 2019 I decided to install it on my small 15ft John boat to try it out. I wanted to see if it was as good on

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • I will write later
