Pleases. in Accessories for sports and outdoor activities

I really like this stand. Fits snugly on my Trek fitness bars. Holds my mini iPad securely during indoor workouts. One thing I noticed about the unit I received is that the silver hex head screws are not the best quality and are easy to remove. I was able to tighten them, but with some difficulty. I still like the stand and will just replace the hex bolts if needed.

Crashes after multiple uses

Pure garbage! Bought to mount my iPad on a Zwift indoor exercise bike. It seemed to work well enough for the first few rides, but when I tried to put the iPad back on it, the burglar's tails repeatedly twisted and popped out of the iPad, causing it to fall to the ground. There's no tension adjustment, and the rubber tabs or tiny screws that hold them in place don't seem to fit. Now I have a $35 machine that I don't really need. Do not buy!

The right choice for me

Does the job I was hoping for. Easy to install (as long as you make sure to "open" the fastener to the right size for the handlebars with a small wrench, which took me a few minutes to figure out what was necessary). It holds my iPad perfectly and securely enough. I like that it pops out in front of the bars (many other options don't), but I wish it popped out a little further to give me more room on the bars for my hands. Overall I think this was the best choice given the others I've seen…

Don't believe the measurements given

I don't understand all the other reviews. According to advertising and packaging, it is suitable for screens from 7.9 to 9.7 inches. My screen is about 9.25 inches and the holders are pushed back at least a quarter inch from the end. The arms are in the smallest position and they are still too big for my 9.25 inch tablet which should be oversized for this thing. Apparently they think the tablet should have an extra 1 inch bezel or something. It should be fine for larger tablets, although I…

Good build, but usability depends heavily on handlebar setup

Definitely solid construction, as expected from a company like Minoura Mounts are well constructed and hold my iPad Air securely in place. However, they don't suit my setup at all because no matter where I tilt and rotate the tablet, my hands still bump into the sides when switching. from the hood to the top of the steering wheel. If you don't change your position much, you have a handlebar wider than 40cm, you can always use portrait mode, or you have a tablet smaller than 9 inches, this will…

This is a very good quality tablet holder

This is a very good quality tablet holder. The spring-loaded clip attaches securely to the handlebars. A vinyl strip is included to prevent scratches. Outside of the package, it's set up for a larger tablet. Spring-loaded clips with rubber tips hold the tablet in place. A second set of clips is included for smaller tablets like mine. Easily replaced in 10 minutes with a thin screwdriver. Easily switch between landscape and portrait format. There are 2 hex head screws that can be tightened if…

Advertised size is confusing

Advertised as compatible with 7.9" to 9.7" tablets. But it comes with long arms that start at around 10.5 inches in diameter and go up to around 12.5 inches. It also includes separate short arms that should be used for tablets measuring 215 to 280 mm (8.46 to 11 inches) diagonally. But to fit the smaller arms to the actual advertised size, you'll have to disassemble the whole thing into 8 bolts and rebuild. This is after I had to disassemble and rebuild the entire mount to get it out of the…
