Actually sent to my 93 year old friend who still knits. When I visited her, she told me that she had run out of yarn but could not leave the house. So I sent Mira's yarn to her and she called me when she got it and was so happy with all the colors and the quality of the yarn. She lives where I used to live and I don't go back often. This yarn and crochet kit was a great purchase. I haven't crocheted in a long time so I didn't know where my hooks were so it was very handy that this package had two hooks and the yarn needles (which I never had) came with the yarn! This is a really good product for people who are just starting to crochet like me. I've found that fluffiness increases after and sometimes during project completion. It makes it look aged which I don't like but I guess that's why it's acrylic. If you're looking for a big project, I recommend you look elsewhere because it won't cut it. he is skinny too. Overall, however, it gets the job done. It comes with a 4.5 and 5.5 hook and 2 large thread needles which is nice too.

* Yarn balls are small so buy at least two packs if you are working on a larger project! I knit cat blankets based on grandmother's check pattern. The yarn is soft and easy to work with. I've found that I need four spools of yarn for one blanket (I'm ordering two more packs so I can make the number of blankets I agreed on). Time - it helps to have extra hooks to run blankets on multiple hooks. I'll post pics later - as I have to get back to work on the project!

I ordered a large size pack from this brand and really liked them for small projects. However, the pack I ordered previously didn't have yellow, so I ordered this one. It's not the same material, although both say it's 100% acrylic, and definitely not the same size (maybe I didn't read the fine print). A bit disappointed because I tried to match the material for my current project but they seem scratchy while others I've bought have been smooth and soft. Please also make custom colors in larger
