The wipes work but I was disappointed with the effort it took to remove the brass stain. I remember once using Brasso liquid on military belt buckles which, after initial rubbing, created a kind of haze that was then quite effective in completely removing the tarnish with further rubbing. These rags smell like they've been soaked in something similar, but not enough to do their job as well as they used to.

Great for fret polishing and removing dirt from the fingerboard. I don't normally use it on a neck (and certainly won't use a maple neck) but I just cleaned up a bass that was neglected and had heaps of dirt and corrosion. Worked great. Be careful with maple fretboards as they can leave a black residue, but make sure to apply fretboard cleaner immediately afterwards. Didn't work well on the rusty chrome bridge but I'll just hit it with copper.

For fine cleaning and polishing a small 9 piece set of antique silver. The set is crafted from sterling silver with a beautiful enamelled finish. The silver has turned black.
