What a great product! I bought them to go to Iceland and they were my favorite things to bring with me. They were very easy to put on and take off and lasted. They were very good on the ice. I was on a trail that was pretty steep and so icy. I literally tried to crawl on my butt to see if I could, it was so freezing. My cats held me and I never slipped. Bought these shoes for a ski trip in the White Mountains. They cost a lot less than the equivalent REI product, so I decided to give them a try. They're pretty durable: they were about teens for the temperature, and the elastic part is still usable and not brittle. The lugs are about 1/2" high and provide good traction on ice. Amazing product, especially at this price. We have just returned from a hike in the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park. The Grand Canyon and Bryce had noticeable ice on several runs. Doable without spikes, but with them I felt like I could walk on walls. I bought three pairs for me and my dad (I'll explain why later). After 20+ miles on numerous trails over ice and rock, the lugs wear out just as well. The sizing is correct but VERY dependent on the shoes you wear. I wear 9.5 US.

Pretty aggressive and durable crampon set. I originally bought them to help me maneuver my snow thrower on slippery/snowy days and I can assure you they will do the job.
