It doesn't get much easier than with docker-compose

I like that it's pretty easy to deploy apps using Docker or natively in Linux. They have some nice GUI tools too - but you need experience first before you'll be able to use them effectively. The documentation could do better explaining more advanced concepts though they are improving all of this lately! Great platform if your looking into deploying containerized applications without heavy lifting yourself. We're trying out many different platforms including other open source ones such as…

Pros
  • Rich community
  • Easy deployment / automation tooling, just about any language available with docker support (python/java) + various runtimes for native linux containers.
  • Very helpful userbase at #mcp freenode irc channel
  • Lots free resources online from experts
Cons
  • I will keep silent

Very useful service for many purposes, especially business related

The ease of use this platform provides makes it very easy! Not much so far as I have had problems but that could be because my own inexperience or something else entirely? Maybe try using some other tools first before jumping into such large platforms like cloud providers are - you may find your needs more easily met by smaller solutions instead in order from bigger ones down until what's best suited comes up when compared against others which do similar things at least somewhat better than…

Pros
  • Ease to manage
  • Simplicity (no complicated GUI)
  • Very simple instructions for settingup various configurations, including new installations
Cons
  • Some cons

Some good points and also negative aspects to consider

I like that there are several ways of getting in contact via email or chat which works well when you have questions about something specific as opposed from just having general "how do i install this". Sometimes it's not entirely obvious how things work so asking multiple people at once helps get some clarity! The way they handle upgrades - sometimes its really easy but other times requires lots more effort than expected because their documentation isn't very clear up front if what your doing…

Pros
  • That said , while my colleague was competent technically he did tend towards an overly simplified approach too often making assumptions where his lack o understanding made him unable /unwilling tp say no (for example installing software packages manually into docker containers)
Cons
  • Zero

Very good tool for containerizing any type or application

The ability to deploy applications in multiple cloud environments like AWS, Azure & GCP without worrying about managing each of those separately.Deployment time was less compared to other products as well. The UI could have been more improved but no issues found so far. This product offers flexibility that allows you to choose your preferred environment when it comes to deploying apps. It's easy to use as well as reliable. We are using this to build our own private PaaS platform which gives us…

Pros
  • Easy way for developers
  • Ability customizing application templates with ease.
  • Deploying services into many clouds easily (AWS /Azure/ Google)
  • Flexibility
  • You can customize any service template according yo needs from an admin panel or via command line interface.
  • It is built around Kubernetes technology
  • Free version available!
Cons
  • Not much documentation provided regarding CLI commands used within kubernetes cluster

Cloud-based Platform for DevOps Engineers

The simplicity of using this platform was one thing I liked most about it. This helped me get started quickly without any technical knowledge or expertise required from my side. Also its UI makes working easy even if you have no prior experience in cloud environments. We could not able to manage our own clusters which were hosted by third party vendors like HPE etc., but we are now managing them all via the same interface as well. But what's more important than that, there has been almost zero…

Pros
  • Its ease for deployment.
  • And lastly best suited where VMware/KVM doesnot provide enough control flexibility compared tp their native
Cons
  • None

Mirantis Cloud Platform - Using for Cloud Computing

The ability of this platform to be able to run multiple cloud environments in one instance makes it very useful when you need more than just 1 type of environment. Also being open source allows us access to all parts that make up our system which has been beneficial as well since we are not limited by their support services or licensing costs. I do wish there was better documentation available but once again its still pretty good overall especially if your familiar with linux servers already.

Pros
  • This is great because even though those 2 market leaders charge alot compared other options out here like Google's GCP (Google Compute) offers much cheaper solutions while providing similar
Cons
  • All fine
