Couldn't quite handle my busy kid

The shoe part is good but we've only had these shoes for a few months and the green nicks on the bottom are coming loose and the laces have broken. He doesn't even wear them every day. I wish the trim held together a little better.

Pros
  • Perfect
Cons
  • Shoes may not be fashionable enough for some children.

2 pairs and blah in my review

I bought the first pair on November 17th. The laces broke at the end of January. My son loved them and they are a great design for winter sensory kids and men. So I understand well that 2 months every day for a 7 year old kid in the $30 shoe range how can I be picky. Ordered a second pair, delivered the first week of February and there are stitches in the back (today 23rd February). so less than a month. Unfortunately I will now skip the return window as it will be too late for a return by the…

Pros
  • Encourages children to actively play and explore outdoors and promotes healthy development
Cons
  • Shoes may not be suitable for children with balance problems.

Improve my judgment in my review

My son always ruins his shoes when he travels. I bought them for our trip to Mexico. they hold up so well! I'm already considering buying a second pair. You are wonderful! My son loves them too.

Pros
  • These shoes are great! Bought these for my daughter's camp and lasted all summer!!
Cons
  • Shoes may not be suitable for cold weather and may not provide adequate warmth.

These are good shoes, just too big for my son but he loves them and will grow up in them. The quality of the shoes is good and they are not slippery at all. These are great shoes

Pros
  • exactly what we were looking for - size, comfort, looks
Cons
  • Shoes may not be suitable for children with wider or narrower feet.

The cable broke after 2 months and cannot be replaced.

It started off well and looked like it was going to be a solid shoe. But after 6 weeks the elastic lace on one of the shoes broke and I don't think it can be replaced. So the shoes only lasted about 6 weeks.

Pros
  • It's good, comfortable and easy to carry.
Cons
  • The straps were too long and the plastic pieces on the ends broke within a day.

Great fit. The bracelet broke after a month. worn 4 times

My son loves his shoes. They fit well. But the tightened strap broke the 4th time they were put on. The return window is closed. Cannot return or replace.

Pros
  • loved these shoes. Easy to wear.
Cons
  • Shoes may not be suitable for children who require orthotics.

Not as tough as they look

They looked stiff enough for my exuberant 7 year old and I was happy to find a highly reinforced sock. It's also nice to have ones that don't have laces that can be untied. However, we've been wearing them for less than a month and they're already wearing out in several places and starting to lag behind the rubber on the inner toes of both shoes. Disappointing.

Pros
  • A great value choice for parents looking for quality hiking boots for their kids.
Cons
  • Shoes may not be appropriate for children with cognitive or developmental disabilities.

As long as it looks good to me

I deliberately ordered a little more for my 6-year-old son and hoped that it would last until next year. The color and everything else looks good in my opinion and they appear to be durable, but we'll see how long that lasts.

Pros
  • Nice!! Good quality!
Cons
  • Shoes may not be suitable for children with allergies to certain materials.

Didn't last long: my rating

At first he liked them - my son said they are very comfortable, easy to walk on and his feet stay dry. Unfortunately, the elastic (which is used in place of the laces) broke after about a month of use. Damn. In the trash.

Pros
  • These are the most durable baby shoes I've ever bought and I'm with boy #3 who lives in the country. I highly recommend them!
Cons
  • Shoes may not have enough grip, which can be dangerous when hiking or climbing.

Excellent for this money!

I didn't want to spend a lot of money on new shoes for my kids to wear on their hikes, so we gave them a try. My daughter loves them and wears them as her everyday shoes. They're comfortable enough to be carried around, but the bottom feels pretty solid and looks like it'll hold up well for the hikes ahead!

Pros
  • Great durable shoe! Easy to put on
Cons
  • Shoes can cause blisters or other foot injuries.

4.5 stars; Better than average

To my surprise, both the quality and the design look great. I took a size up for my child and it's still not too loose. Lots of soft cushions, very comfortable. Unique design. Overall much better than many Carter, Target Store and other popular toddler shoe brands.

Pros
  • Great
Cons
  • Shoes may not be durable and can fall apart quickly.

Good for little explorers!

Got these for my 4 year old girl and never complained she loved wearing her sneakers. I walked and climbed a lot and never complained. Like the front as it protects the front of her toes. They look good and overall the material feels good.

Pros
  • My son seems to like his shoes and walks on tiptoe
Cons
  • Medium quality. Not long.

Dimensions are VERY small

I got them for my 3 year old son. He has two other pairs of shoes that are the same size so I figured they would fit. Wow, I was wrong! I couldn't even get them up!

Pros
  • The breathable mesh knit construction ensures a comfortable fit during outdoor activities or hikes.
Cons
  • Shoes can be difficult to clean and maintain

Too small my pros and cons

I ordered a size 6.5 Big Kid shoes for my 11 year old daughter. But the shoes I received are very small and don't even fit my youngest who is 6 years old. So returned.

Pros
  • These shoes were perfect for my 2 year old's first hike.
Cons
  • Shoes may not be adjustable and may not provide a secure fit.

Less than a month and already banned

My son has been playing it for about the fourth time and the strap broke. I am so disappointed. I was ready to look past the wear and tear after wearing it twice, but this is crazy.

Pros
  • Great running shoes / durable / sturdy. Fits as expected
Cons
  • But quickly worn out at the seams.

The sun, who likes to wear only water shoes, loves them!

They are great, my son loves them but he finds them a bit heavier than the water shoes he is used to and he doesn't wear socks, he prefers to wear these over his water shoes when they're sharpened and/or dirty, which if you ask me is a big improvement! Since these shoes almost fit me, I tried them and I liked how they feel, the sole is flexible enough, not too heavy, they are not difficult to put on and take off, but they don't fall off. My son climbs trees and he finds that they are better…

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Legacy Model

These shoes are awesome! From quality to style and color! They remind me of a popular brand - Stride Rite! I love that they have a rubber toe cap as my kids put so much pressure on the toes of their shoes! My almost 7 year old thinks they're the coolest and you know what? I have 7 kids and they come in different colors and sizes! I look forward to getting more for my family! They come with extra insoles which I think is a brilliant idea! Like they know kids or something! These shoes fit well…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

The best children's shoes for an ACTIVE child I've bought!

Toddler goes to school outside. they climb rocks, trees, jump over streams. There is a jungle! She wore 1 pair of shoes a month (minimum!) or came home with wet socks. I finally "spoiled" these shoes and, my God! Those are her SCHOOL shoes. The rubber soles are real rubber and in these shoes she can climb the wall practically vertically, they are so "sticky" (not the right word). wet socks lately (maybe she just didn't fall in the creek!?), and this sock won't wear out anytime soon. These are…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
