The clamps were too small on the 2010 Duramax. I had to reuse the old

The clamps did not match the new boots and it was not possible to fit the boot from the intercooler to the inlet without damaging the plastic connector , the boots are too stiff and don't move with duramax 2010 lmm.

It's really hard work!

Great boots, had to cut the weld rings off the hot side pipes but no big deal. It may be a tough landing, but work at it and it will last. The shroud on my S-pipe was a custom made HSP which I left there as it doesn't fit here, but I used the clamps from that pack as they were much stronger and well made.

  • Engines and engine parts

  • Minor issues

I ended up using the original clamps with new lock nuts. Also, I couldn't install the Mishimoto cold boot. Your boot is twice as thick as the factory boot, has four instead of two reinforcement rings and is around four millimeters longer. All of this resulted in the boot being too stiff for me to fit. I spent at least three hours trying…
