    very versatile and can hang anywhere that is similar in width to a door

    over the door fits well. Hook part is short. The good thing is that these hooks are independent of each other, so you can use a few here and a few there, and they seem strong and probably won't bend easily. To illustrate the low capacity of the hook, I bought it to hang rope halters with lead ropes on a pasture fence outdoors. The hook above the door is great for maneuvering over 1x6 fence boards. 1/4" diameter rope halters sit snugly on the hook but without extra room for the hook, allowing…

    These hooks can hang anything over the door

    These hooks can hang anything over the door, which saves a lot of space. I once had an entire shelf but it was bulky and didn't fit smaller doors so I decided to give it a try. I live in a hostel which means saving space is a top priority and they were perfect! They hang easily over the door and hold weight well. So as long as everything fits on the hook, they should be able to hold just about anything. I mainly use them for purses and hats so they definitely don't get tight, but I hang heavier

    Too light, won't stay in place - see EDIT

    I was very disappointed with these hooks. They seem strong enough but the hook part is very small - difficult to hold a good thick bath towel on it. More problematic, however, is that they are very light, the part that hooks onto the door is very short on the loose side (the flat side that attaches the part to the opposite side of the door) and they don't stay in place, when items are removed from them. Larger family members have less difficulty as they can reach and hold the part of the hook…
