Excellent Metal Finishing Tool

After trying this product, I was impressed with its effectiveness in smoothing out rough edges on metal surfaces. The abrasive aluminum discs are durable and long-lasting, making it a great investment for industrial and scientific usage. However, the price point may be a bit steep for those looking for a more affordable option.

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting abrasive material that provides a smooth and polished finish.
Cons
  • May be more expensive compared to alternative abrasive materials.

Excellent for finishing turned spindles.

I need to polish a chair with the spindles turned - used paint remover than cleaned with a abrasive cord. Worked great. Easy to use.

Pros
  • Abrasive cords
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than others

Not suitable for the intended use.

It doesn't cost money to paint chairs with machined spindles after using paint remover. Grinding spindles might work better on fresh wood being machined on a lathe. However, practice your turning skills so you have less grinding to do.

Pros
  • Abrasive and Finishing Materials
Cons
  • Don't remember
