Description of Mitutoyo 543 402B Digimatic Resolution Specifications

Electronic indicator measures 0 to 0.5" (0 to 12.7mm) with 0.0005" (0.01mm) resolution and + or - 0.001" accuracy, for measuring short, linear distances in mechanical engineering, machining, and manufacturing applications. LCD screen displays measurements in inches and metric units, go/no-go display lights red or green when upper and lower tolerances have been set, and indicator face can be rotated 330 degrees for reading from different angles. Stem has 3/8" diameter and a #4-48 UNF contact point thread mount, and unit has a flat back for stem/plate mounting. Absolute electrostatic capacitance-type linear encoder for accurate measurements. Ingress Protection certified IP42 for protection against objects greater than 1mm and dripping water.

Precise Digital Dimensional Measurement Tool

Using this digital measurement tool, our team found that it was accurate to within 0.00005 inches.It was easy TO read and the data output was clear. Everything is fine with this product

I am buying these items for our manufacturing facility so I am not an end user but if I don't hear anything I have to assume it is working as it should. Everything is good with this product.
